The PFMR Secretariat is in process to develop the Programme Operational Manual whose Objective is to guide the implementing agencies (Ministries, Departments & Agencies and County Governments) of the Public Financial Management Reform Strategy on the basic procedures of project implementation.
The operational manual will achieve the following broad objectives:
- Guide the Implementing agencies and stakeholders in accessing, utilizing and accounting for the Programme funds;
- Serve as reference and training resource on the Programme to the Implementing agencies; and
- Serve as a guide for Consultants, Development Partners and other stakeholders who may wish to understand or evaluate the Programme's operational procedures.
The Secretariat organized a workshop to validate the Operational Manual at Hilton Hotel,Nairobi. The validation workshop involved stakeholders from Ministries, Departments & Agencies(MDAs) and County Governments.
